Board of Directors: The board acts as the visionary focus of the corporation. Each board member owns a minimum of 5% of the company's shares (purchased or granted) AND is voted onto the board by all current shareholders by a simple majority. Board members need not possess any title within the corporation other than member and need not even be a current member of the corporation. The only restriction is that an individual may not have multiple characters serving on the board (consolidate shares and singularize your control). There are four specific titles other than Member of the Board that each confer additional roles/ responsibilities:
- Chairman of the Board- By default this is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company. In the absence of the Chairman the Vice Chairman wields all applicable power (including inferred share strength). The Chairman is the foremost visionary of the corporation and it is his ideas and direction that the rest of the Board seeks to fulfill by means they deem fit.
- Vice Chairman- Appointed by the current Chairman of the Board. The Vice Chairman's primary role is to serve as proxy for the Chairman in his absence.
- Secretary- Responsible for non-financial reports to the Board, including but not limited to, recruitment, diplomacy/ war status, new non-liquid asset assessments, shareholder requests and any new activity not directly related to an ISK amount. The Secretary is thus an important tracker of the efficacy of the corporation in executing the Board's wishes.
- Treasurer- Responsible for financial reports. These include profit details, loss information, liquid estimates of current solid assists, dividend awards, etc...
- Chief Executive Officer- (CEO) Highest ranking officer and makes all final decisions on the workings of the corporation.
- Chief Operations Officer- (COO) Responsible for all aspects of daily operation of the corporation.
- General Manager- (GM) Responsible for the delegation of duties, answers directly to the COO.
- Capital Industrial Pilot- A pilot of at least one Capital Industrial Ship (Freighter).
- Advanced Industrial Pilot- A pilot of at least one Advanced Industrial Ship.
- Junior Industrial Pilot- A pilot of at least one Standard Industrial Ship.
- Field Acquisitions Agent- A pilot who gathers resources for the corporation (miner, exhumer, site running, salvaging, etc…).
- Chief Communications Officer- (CCO) Responsible for all recruitment and internal communication (corporation wide notifications).
- Ambassador- Charged with interaction with external entities. Should answer any corp related questions made by potential recruits, and current members, and may serve as a representative for the corporation.
- Chief Financial Officer- (CFO) Oversees all the company's finances solid and liquid.
- Financier- A Market and Contract buyer/ seller. May also be tasked with large scale market acquisitions (to purchase large quantities of product) or market flooding techniques.
- Market Specialist- Able to buy and sell items from the market to either fill corporation requests or "bargain-hunt".
- Contract Specialist- Able to create and fill item contracts to either fill corporation requests or capitalize on low prices.
- Chief Security Officer- (CSO) Oversees the protection of all corporation assists.
- Security Pilot Specialist- A pilot who flies situation specific T2 craft in the support of an Industrial Pilot.
- Security Pilot- A pilot who flies any number of T1 ships in the assistance of an Industrial Pilot.
